Mermaid Maternity

We were hoping for golden hour but got blue hour instead.

I wasn't mad about it :) The blue tones created such a classic vintage vibe.

The softness of the evening created a spotlight for Candace! The waves were so blue, her dress so white.

It was a beautiful night and I was very inspired.

She looked like a beached mermaid. It was very windy but I didn't mind, it added to the magic.

I snapped away as her dress got tangled in the wind and waves.

These photos are some of my favorites, and actually my first maternity session. I am excited for many more. Capturing this fleeting and special moment in a woman's life is truly an honor.
